Khristen is a teen who, according to her mother, was predestined for greatness as a newborn when she died for a split second and subsequently resurrected. After Khristen's boarding school for exceptional youths closes and her mother vanishes, she wanders the dead countryside in search of a'resort' on the shores of a mysterious, stinking lake known to the old locals as 'Big Girl.' These elderly ones plot measures to punish corporations and persons they hold responsible for the destruction of nature's last bits of beauty in a rotting honeycomb of chambers. Harrow is a tale of paradise lost and the reasons to strive to recapture some of it, conveyed with Williams' scorching, deadpan humour.
