Peggy is terrified because she is still recovering from polio and needs crutches to walk, and because she and her neighbours are concerned about reports of Communist spies carrying out evil deeds. Peggy struggles at school and is teased by her peers on top of all that. She believes she has found the answer to all of her troubles when she discovers a mysterious relic that grants her the ability to fly. Peggy will need to defeat bullies, outsmart FBI agents, and flee from some very odd spies if she wants to keep it, though!
