The stories of Devdoot depict the same incidents that were told to me while interviewing those characters. While searching for these stories, I saw human sorrow and deprivation very closely and my writing has tried to arrange all those poignant experiences in a sequence. Devdoot describes the welfare works of one such person, due to which the suffering and neglected people got treatment, financial help, respect, security, food, clothing, benefits of schemes etc. in their bad times and the sadness of their lives suddenly reduced. As you read those true incidents depicted in the pages of this book, you will come to know about the pain of those suffering people and the philanthropic works of Devdoot who came in their lives to remove their pain.
