Dalpatbhai Patel, a Gujarati motelier succeeded in becoming the Mayor of Mansfield County, while Mohanbhai Patel was once the Sheriff of Mumbai and a reputed manufacturer of collapsible aluminium tubes. Hersha and Hasu Shah are Gujaratis who own more than a hundred hotels in the US. The author has left no stones unturned in scouting the glove to find stories of Gujaratis who have succeeded in their respective ?dhandhas' and have left their mark in their field.
