Essentials of Environmental Science is divided into three main sections covering the Cellular and Chemical basis of life, Biological Communities, Structure and Functional aspects of Ecosystem, Biogeochemical cycling and Natural Ecosystems. The second section covers the Natural Resources, Pollution of Water, Soil and Air, and Solid and Hazardous Waste Management followed by the third section covering Human population, Global environmental issues and Environmental Management.
