The working theories, created laboratory models, and applications of various individual micromachining techniques are covered in "Introduction to Micromachining." It primarily focuses on two categories of micromachining processes: those used to size and shape microproducts and macroproducts, such as electrochemical micromachining, electrodischarge micromachining, laser beam micromachining, diamond turning, etc. The second category of u-machining consists of u-/nano-finishing methods that can be used to both u and macro products. These procedures include magnetic abrasive finishing, magnetic float polishing, and abrasive flow machining, among others. This book is the result of a collaborative effort by several professors from esteemed universities (IITs, NITs. etc.)involved in high level research in related areas on which they have written to meet the requirements of undergraduate and postgraduate students as a text book and as a reference book for those involved in the research work in u-machining area.
