Four of Sherlock Holmes' unabridged novels, along with those of Dr. Watson, his friend and assistant, are included in this omnibus version. The story of their exploits starts when a certain "Young Stamford" arranges for them to occupy a lodging in Baker Street, where Watson wrote about their first adventure, "A Study in Scarlet." Perhaps the most well-known of his lengthy tales is "The Hound of Baskervilles," which is followed by "The Sign of the Four" and "The Valley of Fear."
