Hallo - Mark Wood here. I was born, reared, and educated in Ashington, Northumberland, and I currently play cricket for Durham and England. I've won an Ashes and a World Cup during the course of my international career, which has lasted seven years and counting as of this writing. Like being Tyson Fury's punching bag or working behind the bar during the darts at Ally Pally, fast bowling is among the most difficult sports to pursue. playing cricket? Nothing else compares to it. Doing it for England as well? I suppose I'm fortunate to be able to call it a profession. Along the way, there was a lot of laborious work. much sacrifices and suffering to accompany the good times that make them all worthwhile. I've been everywhere, from Barbados to Brisbane, Chester-le-Street to Chennai, waiting rooms to operating tables. I've played in some of the most exotic locations in the world and eaten margherita pizzas in every single one of them. To be honest, it's amazing I've waited this long to bring out my own self-help book.
