Aniket and Suchitra "Su" Shah are compelled to relocate into the suicide house with their five-year-old daughter Reva after the twin catastrophes of their tenant's suicide and a financial loss strike on the same day. However, Row-house No. 49 is not your typical home. Su quickly understands that her tenant's death was only a sign of what was to come. Su frequently notices a young mother and her little child in the bedroom of her tenant, who later committed suicide.
