At the outset it is stated that since the method of selection form Group ?C? to Group ?B? service has been changed from narrative type to objective type, it is essential for those who aspire for elevation to Group ?B? service to have a book which contains not only the notes i.e. compilation of various Rules and Railway Board?s orders etc., but also should contain the questions and answers in conformity with the syllabus prescribed for the said selection. Keeping the above in mind, a sincere effort has been made in preparing this book to satisfy the demand from various levels and to assist them in preparing for the selection form Group ?C? to Group ?B? service of various departments.
