The experience during the study and teaching of geography inspired me to transmit the information of any subject and their display in the map at one place. The context of India's geography has been presented in the book in four dimensions. First- Information about the subject, Second- Concept of the subject, Third- Analytical side of the subject, Fourth- Presentation of the subject in map or diagram. A total of more than 400 maps have been presented in the book which not only helps in understanding the subject but also makes the book unique. The relevance of traditional and current context has also been taken care of in the selection of topics in the book and information has been collected from recognized authentic sources to help make it error free.
