Sachchidananda Hiranand Vatsyayan 'Agyeya' compiled and edited Taar Saptak in 1943 by forming a group of seven poets for the creation of new poetry. The fourth Saptak is a collection of poems of seven Hindi poets edited by Agyeya. This poetry collection was first published in 1979. On the basis of the name, this book is linked to the collection of poems of seven poets of three Saptaks edited by Agyeya - Taar Saptak, Doosra Saptak and Tesira Saptak.
