In this poignant novel, Dutt Bharti has based the evils which are slowly creeping into the society. Its story forces the reader to think and at the same time the realistic depiction of a society heading towards the trough shows that we are moving towards destruction and not development. The level to which man stoops for money has been made clear in this novel.
