This book aims to provide understanding of the traditional biochemical concepts along with contemporary advancements in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand way. According to the INC syllabus, the book is separated into two sections: nutrition and biochemistry. The material has undergone extensive revision and updating to provide nursing students with a current understanding of the subject, taking into account the importance of nutrition and biochemistry in this profession. The chapters are thoroughly illustrated with reproducible diagrams and tables in accordance with the format of the syllabus. For better understanding, the most important chemical structures have been explained in-between text.
