A group of resolute ladies return to the cave where they have lay the body of their saviour under a dawn sky humming with starlight and bird melodies. When they get there, it is vacant. The fifteen women whose lives intersected with the life of Christ are profiled in the book Names of the Women. Women who remained by his side throughout his crucifixion, after his disciples had deserted him, and who helped spread his revolutionary message, which proclaimed women equals and posed a serious threat to authority within the church. Together, the women's voices challenge us to tell the New Testament account in a way that has never been done before.
