When Mrs. Putney asks Nancy Drew for assistance in finding her missing jewellery, the teenage sleuth and her companions Bess and George begin their quest in the vibrant French Quarter of New Orleans. The peculiar conduct of Mrs. Putney and two young women who are being attacked by'spirits,' nevertheless, is impeding the mission.
