This book is deemed as a text book for B.Pharmcourse (V-Semester) The science including pharmacy has developed through critical comments, discussion and suggestions. Popularity of the book among students and their appreciation encouraged me. In this addition, emphasis is being laid on providing a simple format to understand the description of crude drugs. The recent information relating to biological sources, chemical constituents and medicinal uses of these drugs have been included. The diagrams have been made simple and self-explanatory by redrawing them to provide accuracy and better understanding.
