This textbook, specially prepared for undergraduate students of Osmania University, has sixteen units altogether in poetry, prose and drama. Each of the units begins with pre-reading activities that lead students into the lesson by tuning their minds to the theme of the text for study. They also include reading comprehension exercises and post-reading activities which sharpen the students? hidden creative and innovative talents in addition to improving their understanding of the lesson. Each unit also includes language development activities that focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking and writing to help students acquire accuracy in the language. In addition, each unit has a soft skills section which helps in personality development and interpersonal relations.
