This action-packed tale by Phil Earle and illustrator Steve May is excellent for fans of superheroes since it involves an unexpected family secret that has funny repercussions. Stanley had not anticipated experiencing plane disasters, robberies, or fires while spending the day at the beach with his grandmother and the other residents of her nursing home. Super Stan can't aid Nan because Nan doesn't know about his superpowers because doing so would expose him. Fortunately, another enigmatic superhero appears to be there to save the day. However, who could it be?
