This paper is focused on the idea of terrorism deterrence in the Indian setting, which was previously believed to be unfinable. The primary contribution of this work is the definition of such a notion for India. The goal of this book is to suggest a new policy prescription for deterrence against terrorism that is suitable for India, not to conduct scholarship in the topic of terrorism. Instead, it draws on existing information.
