Huckleberry Finn is a fictional character who first appeared in the book, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was a follow-up. Huckleberry Finn was a boy of around fourteen years of age. He was being raised by Miss Watson and the Widow Douglas. Both of them blindly accepted the hypocritical nature of their society. Huck attempted to help Jim, a runaway slave. The book follows Huck and Jim's adventures rafting down the Mississippi River, where Huck gradually rejects the values of the dominant society, especially its views on slavery.
