The Discworld lives between between idea and reality, a magical world remarkably dissimilar to our own. Except that it travels through space on the shoulders of four massive elephants, who in turn stand on the shell of an astronomically massive star turtle. Rincewind is the world's worst wizard, and he has just been assigned a critical task: to watch after the world's first tourist, the survival of whom depends on the peace and prosperity of the region. Sadly, their trek across the Disc involves encounters with robbers, demons, mercenaries, and Death himself. And it's all just a game of the gods that could push them over the edge...
