Death of Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanya is under the shroud of mystery. Even after Circa 500 years of His alleged disappearance, our History is dead silent and tongue-tied to reveal the truth. No historians and the adherents of Vaiashnavism have been able to land at the conclusion over His mysterious disappearance. Where was Sri Chaitanya died? How did He breathe His last? Where was His corpse buried in? They have not discussed, delved or debated over the controversies for many decades. It seems as if there is an unwritten Fatwa (forbidden pronouncement) that no historians or authors can make any in-depth studies or conclude the truth in any form. Defying it, the historians who have endeavoured to reveal the naked truth about the murder mystery of Sri Chaitanya from the necropolis of history have been murdered. As a consequence, the truth has been entombed and strangled bitterly inside the grave. When the medley of news is circulated by different hagiographers for His demise, then it usually creates suspicion: Was the death of Sri Chaitanya unnatural? Was it a premeditated conspiracy?
