The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants is about four close friends named Lena Kaligaris, Tibby Rollins, Bridget Vreeland and Carmen Lowell. These four were friends since their babyhood as their mothers knew each-other from their prenatal exercise class. Carmen once happened to buy a pair of jeans which looked like any other ordinary pair but surprisingly, it fit all the other three girls perfectly even though they had different builds. Before parting ways to spend their holidays, the four girls decide to share the pants over the summer by sending-it-on to the other person after one used it for a certain amount of time. Their first summer being-apart turns out to be a rollercoaster ride of ups-and-downs, making it one of their most-eventful and memorable times.
