Sureshchandra Sharma was born on 1 November 1944 in village Gulalai, Sabalgarh, District Morena (Madhya Pradesh). He retired from Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur in the year 2006 as Principal Scientist and Head of the Department of Soil Science. Continuously active work in welfare, social and cultural fields. Along with scientific research and teaching, he has been closely associated with Ramakrishna Mission (Belur), Vivekananda Kendra (Kanyakumari), Sri Sarada Sangha (Kolkata) and Sri Aurobindo Society (Puducherry) while teaching. -Bhavdhara, Sri Aurobindo Sahitya, Pandurang Eightwale Swadhyaya Andolan and GitaPress (Gorakhpur) literature have been translated, written, edited and compiled for self-sufficiency, personality development and culture promotion.Currently engaged in many creative works as coordinator of Ramakrishna (Gwalior) and chief guide of Sri Aurobindo Society - Institute of Culture (Gwalior).
