To provide a comprehensive grasp of the topic, the work includes a Must Know section that includes functional and applied elements of the tissues. To offer a three-dimensional view of the tissues, inserts with a few figures and diagrams have been inserted. Even for a last-minute review of histology prior to the exam, the textbook has enough information. The final chapter has been expanded to provide readers with a general understanding of various fixatives, stains, etc. that will be helpful to those doing BSc and MSc courses in anatomy.
